Rod Moser, PA-C, Ph.D., is a Primary Care Physician Assistant
(PA) with over twenty years experience in Family Practice
and Pediatrics. Dr. Moser received his Masters of Health
Services Degree at the University of California at Davis
where he was on the Faculty of the School of Medicine and
taught Ear-Nose-and Throat, Respiratory, Infectious Disease,
and Dermatology, as well as other family practice areas.
Dr. Moser completed his Doctorate in Health Education at
Columbia Pacific University.
Since 1979, Dr. Moser has been involved in teaching community
health education classes for parents and child day-care
providers . Along with his wife, Lindsey, he has instructed
over a thousand non-medically trained people to use the
home otoscope in their ear infection classes.
As the author of over 50 articles on children's health
issues, Dr. Moser is currently writing another book on infectious
disease control in day-care centers. He also serves on an
international panel of infectious disease experts for his
work in children's day-care. He served as Children's Health
Editor for Medical SelfCare Magazine for many years, and
wrote a pediatric advice column for a local parents' newspaper.
